The long absence entailed in attending the Empire Press Conference in Australia has caused a few proprietors to reluctantly reject their invitations. Lord Burnham, when interviewed, said that Australia could rest assured that the delegation would bo thoroughly representative. The proprietors and editors were all seized with the desire to bettor understand the problems and to help in the «dovelopment of Australia. He was sure the conference would bo a splendid proof that Blood was much thicker than any quantity of separating water.
