GERMAN STAINED GLASS.
RETURNED MEN’S OBJECTION. BRISBANE, May 18. A deputation of returned soldiers and other kindred bodies protested to Archbishop Sharpe against placing German stained glass in the Anglican Memorial Church at Hamilton. _ The Archbishop promised to secure English glass instead of German for the five windows to which objection was taken. —Press Association.
