TERRACE END SCHOOL.
SUCCESSFUL BAZAAR HELD
A very successful bazaar was conducted at the Terrace End School on Saturday afternoon by members of the teaching staff, as the result of whose efforts the sum of £SO was raised for the purpose of providing readers for the cliilaren. This amount will be subsidised by the Education Board. The heavily-laden stalls were quickly relieved of their wares and the ladies in charge had a busy time attending to the wants of the many buyers. Those in charge were as follow Misses Rickard and Minogue (sweets). Miss Lavery and senior girls (cakes), Miss Chapman and senior girls (jumble and work), Mrs Wrigley and senior girls (flowers), Misses O’Donnell and Billons and Mrs Myles (afternoon tea), Mr Overton and senior boys (produce) , Messrs Morine and Schwarz (shooting gallery and competitions). The committee in charge desires to heartily thank Mrs H. Scott lor her many gifts to the stall and also for her untiring efforts in organising the bazaar.
