PERSONAL.
The death occurred at Christ church this morning of tho Rev. Andrew Cameron, of the Otago University, who dropped dead in Manchester street when on his way to attend the meeting of the University Senate.
Mr W. P. Ogilvie, of the Y.M.0.A., London, who brought out tho last quota of boys for Flock House landing in New Zealand this week, left Flock House today for Bulls where he will stay with Rev. Mr Ireland for three days, afterwards going to Auckland. Mr Ogilvie is desirous of seeing as much of New Zealand as pos l sible before returning Home. At Eltham yesterday tiie death occurred of Sir Theophilus Cooper, ex-Judge of the Supreme Court, at the age of 75 years. Born in London in 1850, he arrived in Auckland with his father and family in 1863. For a time he was engaged ill the printing trade; forsaking that for low he was admitted to the bar in 1878. From 1883 to 1901 he was deputy inspector of lunatic asylums, and in the latter year was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court, retiring from that office in 1921. The lute Sir Theophilus had been in fuiling health for some time, but his illness wus short.
