Mr Harry N. Holmes, 0.8. E., F.R.G.S., whose lectures in other parts of the Dominion have been attracting wide notice, will pay a visit to Palmerston North on Thursday of this week under the auspices of the local Y.M.C.A. Advantage is being taken of his presence in Palmerston North by the arrangement of a lecture to which the publio is cordially invited and at which Mr Holmes will deal largely with British-America n relations from the point of view of a Britisher who has resided for a considerable time in the city of New York. The lectures will bo delivered in the Municipal Hall and admission will be free, a collection being taken to defray the expenses pt arranging tho lecture.
