SEXAGENARIAN’S DIVORCE.
NELSON FAMILY SCANDAL. LONDON, May 4. Mrs Amelia Nelson, aged 65, has divorced her husband, Horatio Nelson, aged 35, the second heir to the Nelson earldom. Petitioner gave evidence that she married her husband in January, 1924. Ho repeatedly left her, and wrote on one occasion : "I feel like a sparrow in a canary’s cage. I must be free.” She added that she bought the Brickworth estate for £lO,000 to keep it in the Nelson family.
