HOCKEY.
GAMES POSTPONED. Owing to the flooded condition of the Sportsground, due to the heavy overnight ruin, the executive of the Msnawatu Hockey Association decided this l morning to postpone all matches scheduled lor this afternoon.
Despite the heavy rain, the Showgrounds oval was in excellent order, only a trace of greasiness being observable in the neighbourhood of the turfed-in water jump, and consequently all Rugby fixtures were proceeded with.
