POLICE SCANDAL.
DETECTIVES FOUND GUILTY. Received Alay 16, 8.5 a.m. MELBOURNE, May 15. After an all-night sitting, the jury found Detectives 0. E. Holm and AlacPhor! son guilty of tho charge of conspiracy. Accused were remanded for sentence.— Press Association.
Four detectives, after a departmental inquiry were committed for trial on charges of conspiracy, the theft of £IOOO, and demanding, with menaces, £6500 from Terance Callaghan, licensee of the Londonderry Hotel, Collingwood.
