Cheese rather weak —Now Zealand SBs to 995. Frozen lambs: Very firm demand, increasing outlook more favourable; mutton weaker ;_ beef quiet. PARK CRICKET CLUB. A social evening was held at" the residence of Mr Croolce as a wind-up to the Park Cricket Club's season. The bowling average trophy, a silver-mounted ball, was won by L. Bramwell, who took 61 wickets With the fine : ;erago of 5.8 runs. With an average of 19.5 for 17 innings, G.. Darragh was the winner of the batting average, trophy, a bat presented by Mr Crooke. The trophy donated by Mr A. McElroy for the highest score other than the bating averago was won by W. Mingins. It was unanimously resolved that the Taylor Challenge Cup, for the most improved player, be presented to L. Bramwell. Mr and Mrs Merwood were tho recipients of a handsome Doulton bowl as a token of the respect and high esteem in which they are held by the club.
