DRIVERS IN CUBA TAKE A HOLIDAY.
Received May 2, 10 a.m. HAVANA, May 1. The drivers of the street cars, buses and taxi cabs remained away from their posts on May Day. The workers held a meeting and a parade.—Reuter, DEMONSTRATION IN OSAKA.
Received May 2, 11.10 a.m. TOKIO, May 1. During the May Day demonstration ip Osaka, JO,OOO workers, including Koreans, paraded in the streets under the close vigilance of the police, but it; terminated without a serious clash.-—A. and N.Z. cable.
