The question of postage in connection with sending out correspondence courses to students of the Wellington College was raised at Friday’s meeting of the College Board of Governors. It was proving rather hard on the board, said Mrs Kane, who declared that they had their hostel staffs to keep up which could not be paid for out of incidental expenses They were running on a dead loss. Sho did not see how they wero going to pay for the postage. The chairman thought they should inform the department they were not saving money while the schools wero closed.
