DETENTION OF PRISONERS.
VALIDITY TO BE QUESTIONED. Received March 30, 0.35 a.m. LONDON, March 29. An important test suit will open on Monday, questioning the validity of the detention of prisoners, sentenced in Ulster, now in British prisons. The case affects 50 prisoners. If they are held to be illegally detained tlio Home Secretary becomes liable for heavy damages.—A", and N.Z. cable.
