OIL COMPANY IN AMERICA. NEW YORK, March 6. The town of Lavoyo, in Wyoming, has been literally wiped off the map and its 1500 inhabitants deprived of their homos by the ruling of Federal Judge Kennedy, who ordered tho entire village and its populace to move and make a clear path for that giant of industry, petroleum. Public buildings, business houses, homes — everything must go. The Judge decreed that the Ohio Oil Company has leased the land and is entitled to possession within S-'J days. The Caspor-Wynoming Oil Company and the town of Lavoyo will fight for their existence in the court of appeal, where an appeal haa been lodged.—A. and N.Z. cable.
