It it anticipated that power lit m Mangahao will bo avuilable in Wellington at the end of February. An unusually large wild pig is rc|o.ted to have taken up hia quarters in the hush at Titirangi West. Those who lave seen him describe him as "the praudfatr.or of pigs," and someone has cubbed him "Father Christmas." The pig has a wide range of country to call his own, and it is mostly a perfect jungle of dense forest growth. One resident expressed tho opinion that it would take a real expert pig limiter to get the animal, but tho tusks would be worth the hunt-
