BANDITS CORNERED.
HOLD-UP FAILS. CHICAGO, Dec. 26. When two bandits held up a crowd in a restaurant to-day, a terrified little girl slipped out of the door unobserved and gave the alarm, with the result that police officers entered the place as the bandits were making a final search of their victims. Both surrendered when covered by the revolvers, and the driver of their taxi, in an. effort to escape, collided with a street car and was captured also. .
