FOOTBALL TRAGEDY.
PLAYER DIES IN HOSPITAL. LONDON, Dec. 8. During an Association football match at Phoenix Park, Dublin, two players argued. It is alleged that foul blows were struck, and the referee ordered the men off the field. The scuffle was renewed on tho side-line, during which one player, O’Brien, fell, and ho died in hospital a few hours later.—A. and N.Z. cable.
