ENTOMBED MEN RESCUED. SWIM THROUGH THE WATER:!' Received December 2, 8.5 a.rri. LONDON-, Nov. 30. Two more entombed men were rescued from the Dunvant colliery as the result of a wonderful act of heroisih of the mine manager, Mr William John, who was also responsible for discovering those previously saved. He Swam through a; bi" stretch of .water in the Workings and found the two men, but was unable to rescue them, so he swam back and reported the discovery. ’ A great- crowd at the pit mouth welcomed the survivors, singing hymns, in which the survivors, though in an exhausted, condition, joined. It is hoped soon to reach the. three men still in the "pit.—A. and N.Z. cable.
