. Paddy’s Market will be held at the Empire Hall next Wednesday arid Thursday under the auspices of the Parish of All Saints’. To sell tho wonderful accumulation of goods, provisions, hand-sewn clothing, moat, vegetables, etc., at ordinary bazaar prices would take at least a week, whereas everything must be sold in the two aftornoons and evenings during which the market will run. “That’s all very well,’’ replies the average man, “even if you sel at bargain prices, it’s a dull business, and what’s more, a woman’s business. My wife will go, but I shall stay at home. But Paddy’s Market will be anything but a “dull business.” There will bo continuous amusements to suit both young and old, music, fun and laughter. The children will revel in Father Christinas, the giant Christmas tree, Punch and Judy, the magic fish pond and dolls of all shapes and sizes. There will be a first-class jazz orchestra, an excellent dance floor and supper. Everyone has to buy Christmas presents sooner or later. By buying at Paddy’s Market patrons will get’ full* value for their money, have a wide range to choose from, and opportunity to do Christmas shopping early under tho most pleasant conditions, an afternoon or evening’s amusement, and last, but not least will bo helping a really deserving cause.
