ALLEGED THEFT.
THREE WOMEN BEFORE COURT. Per Pres- Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 20. As the result of arrests made last evening three women appeared at the Court, this morning, charged with stealing a piece of silk valued at £5, the property of the D.I.C. The police stated that other charges were pending. The names of the accused were suppressed in the meantime. The women, who were all middle-aged and well dressed, were remanded.
