STORM ON CASPIAN SEA.
FORTY-EIGHT LIVES LOST. MOSCOW, Nov. 27. Forty-eight lives and 1500 fishing boats were lost in a storm on the Caspian Sea and 700 fishing boats are reported still to lie struggling to gain exit from the ice. A special rescue expedition is being organised.—A. and N.Z. cable.
