BRISBANE, July 17. . Counsel who tell a jury that their duty is to place the facts of the case in the true light got a setback at the Supremo Court criminal sittings, when Mr Justice Lukin commenced a sum-ming-up with the words: “It now becomes- my duty, gentlemen, to take the judical handerchief and proceed to wipe away the dust which lias been cast in your eyes by counsel.”
