LOSS ON TRAMWAYS.
COMPETITION BY BUSES
Received July 25, 10.25 a.m. PFIRTH, July 25,
Tho Government tramways showed a loss of ±1707 during June, the first loss for a number of years. It is attributed to the competition by the recently inaugurated private motor bus services. The Government intends to put a limitation on the competition by buses, which it proposes to run itself on certain routes. —Press Association.
