MEETING OF COMMITTEE. BOUNDARIES OF UNION. Tlie weekly meeting of the Manawatu Rugby Union’s management committee was held last night, when the president, Mr A. Hannay, presided. The Dannevirke Sub-Union wrote stating tliat the N.Z.R.U. boundaries commission had indicated that the northern boundary of the Manawatu Union took in the Woodville borough and the Woodville and Mangatua ndings. of tlie Woodville county. Mr Onglev pointed out that the boundaries as described in the New Zealand rule book- were incorrect and suggested that a correction be requested. This was agreed to and it was decided to also notify the Woodville Club of the true position. MANAWATU B v. TE KAWAU. The To Kawau Sub-Union submitted the names of Messrs J. F. Richardson, G. Fitzgerald aiid S. Reeve for selection as referee lor the Te KawauManawatu B match, at Sanson on August 9. Mr Richardson was selected to control the game. GENERAL. The secretary reported that the Palmerston North Municipal Band had expressed its preparedness to render a programme of music at the All Blacks match. The offer was accepted with thanks. Messrs Trevena and Hatch were appointed to supervise the entry of school children at the side entrance on Saturday.

It was decided that, in view of the danger to school children and the liability to cut - up the playing areas, no motor vehicles ho admitted to tlie Showgrounds on Saturday. Messrs Faire, Ilardie and Eglinton were appointed a committee to make arrangements in connection with the civic reception to the All Black team on Friday evening. Feilding fourth grade jteam was granted byes for August 2 and 9, a territorial camp taking place on these dates.

Tho Chinese University team extended the union invitations to bo present at, a complimentary dinner on the occasion of their visit to Palmerston North.—Accepted with thanks.
