/ At the Palmerston North High School yesterday two matches in the Waldegrave Cup series were contested, when Phoenix defeated Gordon by nine points to nil and Albion and Kia Ora played a drawn game six points each. Chief interest centred in tlio latter fixture and the big fight put up by Kia Ora again3t the crack club was highly commendable.
