MANAWATU HUNT.

OUTING AT KIWITEA. -I The Manawatu Hunt assembled at the homestead of Mrs Taylor, senr., Kiwitea, yesterday afternoon, when hare hunting was indulged in. There was a good muster ot members, and some excellent sport was enjoyed. The throw-off was in the paddocks directly behind the homestead and tho hounds quickly "raised" a hare. After about two houn in the paddocks, during which time three "kills" had been secured, a drizzling rain came on and the hounds were called off. , Among those who followed the hounds were: Mr T. R, Taylor (deputy master), on Tenakohe; Mr J. Sexton (huntsman, Vladist; Mr H. Beatson (hon. whip), Rambler; Miss A. Banks, Ringi; Miss French. Miss Gun: Miss Bryce, Burlon; Miss Shannon. Whisper: Mis Sutton, Nana: Messrs L. H. Collinson. Consul; J. R Northcote, Mountain Top; W. H. Jacobs, Silver Cloud; S. Lodge Chiny; \ Banks, Nonsense; S. Taylor. Chaban; W Tavlor, Ghori; R. O. French. Mahi; S G. Perry, a bay: J. Northcote, Quick Time'; H. Moore, a black. \t the conclusion of the hunt, afternoon tea was kindly provided at the residence of Mrs Taylor. Mr L. H.
