Mr Kennedy, a visitor from the Old Country, was welcomed at to-day's meeting of tho Lunch Club. New members elected at to-day's meeting of the Lunch Club were Messrs J. Hornblow and F. Crossley, both of Palmerston North. The following were nominated for membership: Messrs G. N. Stephenson, F. Gatley and 1. Baty. The Reform candidate for Christchurch North at the general election in 1922, Mr E. 11. Andrews, replying to an enquiry yesterday at Christchurch, stated that it was his present intention to ~be a candidate for the seat at next election.
