FINEST FLIGHT.
RECENT AUSTRALIAN UNDERTAKING. LONDON, May 24. The Aeroplane says that Wing-Com-mander Goble and Flight Lieutenant Melntvre's performance m nying around Australia may be claimed as the finest flight in the history of aviation. They were not out to break records or to stunt and had not prepared aeroplanes or prepared bases with spare parts and other facilities. They inerelv pushed off and did their job. "Without detracting from such performances as the Transatlantic flight or the Anglo-South African flight, or the Anglo-Australian flight, or tho more recent flight by the frenchman Doisy, one can say unhesitatingly that Wing-Commander Goble s night was better than any of them. It was a plain two-man job, and has won tor tho Royal Australian Air Force the admiration of all the world's aviators, says the newspaper.
