PTOMAINE POISONING.
SIXTY PERSONS AFFECTED.
Received June 10, 12.15 p.m. LONDON, June 9. The Daily Chronicle states '. that nearly 60 men, women and children were'taken seriously ill at the Empire Exhibition and treated at the central ambulance station, where the medical officer diagnosed it ptomaine poisoning. Some bf the patients said that they had eateir veal and ham pies.—A. .and N.Z. and Reuter.
