UNION'S FUNDS.
FORMER SECRETARY'S CRIME. Per Press Association. HAMILTON, June 10. At the Police Court "William Shaw, formerly secretary of the Labour Representation Committee, pleaded guilty to converting to his own use nearly £IOO received on behalf of the Carpenters' and Joiners' Union aild tlie Painters' Union. Shaw disappeared last December and could not be traced until last week when he was seen hawking fish around Nelson. He was committed for sentence.
