in a professional boxing contest at Hastings last night, Bert Brown (Palmerston North) knocked out Roy Overend (Hastings) in the last round ot 10, after a fairly even light. Two other Palmerston North residents engaged were Walden, who fought a draw with Parker and O’Keefe, who was deteated by Lawton.
