LEVIN CARNIVAL. Competitors from all parts of the Manawatu district journeyed to Levin yesterday to compete in the local swimming club’s carnival, at which was decided the Manawatu 100 yards championship.' This race resulted in a win for W. Harrison, of Foxton, who covered the distance in 67 l-ssecs., thus breaking the record for the race, 69 3-ssecs., established by V.
