The Daily Mail states that the will to 1 ve was strikingly illustrated by a pati.'nt at the Charing Cross Hospital, who six weeks ago was admitted suffering from a malignant growth. The specialists decided that it was impossible to operate. The patient learaed that his end was neai, the doctors’ estimate being 10 day;. Nevertheless, l)e cabled to his son, who is living in Australia. He kept a map at his bedside and daily trac :-d the progress of the steamer bringing his son and died an hour after the son’s arrival.—Sydney Sun cabl 3.
