GATHERING AT WANGANUI. (Per Proas Association.) WANGANUI, Dec. 28. The North Island ritle championship meeting was continued this morning in unfavourable weather, a strong gusty wind making good shooting impossible. Results; Masterto'u match, 1 10 shots at 300 yards, A grade, was won by Rifleman Cross (Hawera) 48, £5; Whiteman (Upper Hutt) 40, £4; Masefield (Marlborough) 46, £3; West (Blenheim) and Eyles (Napier) 40, £2 each. B grade, Tyros: Foreman (Tewharau) 43, £2; Holmes (Wanganui) 43, £l.
