Mr Bryce Muir, president of the Liverpool Cotton Association, addressing the members said that Liverpool buyers had secured for Lancashire a full six months’ supply of cotton. By their present purchases the Liverpool merchants -would bauble to protect their purchases against decline by the sale of futures.
