A meeting of the Loyal Munawatu Lodge, M.U., 1.0.0. F., was held last night when N.G. Bro. J. Fabrin presided. Two new members were initiated and ohc candidate was proposed for membership. The nominations -of officers were taken and will close next lodge evening. P.G.’s Bros. D. T. Bilks and It. S. Watson were elected delegates to the Friendly Societies’ Council. Bro. R. I. Le Compte, of the Loyal Wairewa Lodge, paid a fraternal visit and was welcomed by V. 6. Bro. C. F. Christiansen. P.G. Bro. W. L. Rockstrow, of New Plymouth, was also present and extended his congratulations on the progress made by the lodge. A meeting of the lodge officers will be held on Thursday next to make the necessary preparations for holding the anniversary euchre party and dance.
