Vealers. —The offering was not sufficient to meet the demand and there was a distinct improvement in prices. Runner fetched £5 15s; good vealers, £2 12s 6d and £6; fair, £2 to £2 10s. Store cattle had quite a good sale for attractive lines of steers. Threo and a-half to four-year-old steers sold for £6 15s to £7 2s; two and a-half to three-year, £4 10a to £5 12s 6d; yearling, £1 to £1 ss; two-year-old heifers, £2 10a to £3; yearling, £1 12s 6d to £1 ss.

Dairy Cows.—A poor lot came forward. E;ttro good springers, £ll to £l7; third, fourth and fifth calvers, £5 4a to £9; springing heifors, £4 to £8 10s; inferior cows, £1 to £1 10s. Fat Pigs.—A short yarding and a jump up in pork values. Choppers brought £4 5s to £8 10s; light baconers, £3 15s to £4 ss; heavy,. £4 10s to £5. ss; average price per lb 6jd to 7id.
