At the lifth wool -ale the offering was 3560 bales. There was a good attendance of buyers. Owing to the lack of competition from the local mills, merino was easier compared with sale by; Id per pound. There was <rood competition for other sorts, balfbred being Id to bettor, and other sorts fully Id better.
