The fifth evening meeting to bo held this season under the auspices of the Manawatu Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club will eventuate on the sportsground on Tuesday next. The popularity of these meetings has been fully evidenced bv the splendid entries received and the interest taken by the public in the past This meeting will comprise the following events:-One mile fiat, long jump, hop, step and jump, half-mile cycle race for boys and two mile senior cycle race.
