GIRL’S SUDDEN DEATH.

(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 2. Emily Brimicoombe, aged 19 years, a domestic servant, whose parents reside at Rakaia, died in a dental parlour aftev receiving an anaesthetic. She was to have had some teeth extracted. The anaesthetic was administered by a doctor, and the work of extraction commenced. It was noticed that the patient’s breathing was not normal and artificial respiration was tried, but without avail. At the inquest on the gun, a cousin of deceased stated that three uncles of deceased died suddenly from heart failure. An aunt had died under chloroform, another aunt had died in the street, and another while getting out of bed. The evidence showed that the girl was medically examined before the administration of the anaesthetic. The inquest was adjourned for a post mortem examination.
