RESTORATION OF FRANCE.
GERMAN COMPANY’S SCHEME.
BERLIN, Sept. 21. It is reported that a largb German building material company has concluded an agreement with French building linns for the reconstruction of (ho French devastated regions, the German company to supply materials and settle accounts. The French Government is supporting the scheme, which is likely to employ 150,000 workmen. The French Labour Department has agreed to permit foreign labour, including German, up to 50 per cent, in Northern France. —A. and N.Z. cable.
