THE HONOURS LIST.
DISSATISFACTION EXPRESSED, LONDON, June 22. In the House of Commons Commander Locker Lampson declared that dissatisfaction was growing in the Commons and the country over the way in which the honours list was compiled, Mr Austen Chamberlain, who was bombarded with questions on the subject, said !hi> Government was not prepared to appoint a committee to review the present procedure because enquiry into the Royal prerogative was not desirable.-—A. and N.Z. cable.
