\ meeting of delegates representing the Jersey, Shorthorn and Ayrshire Breeders Associations was held yesterday to consider the herd-testing question. Alter some discussion it was decided to make a recommendation to the breeders’ associations that a hoard of consultation be set up. to lie composed ot one or two delegates from each association, to confer with the director of the Dairy Division of the Agricultural Department (Mr V\, M. Singleton) with reference to any alterations in the semi-oflicial testing' of herds. ft was also decided that it bo a further recommendation to the associations that Mr Singleton lie asked to make a two-cow minimum in testing, and that RIO 10s be the minimum fee, with £3 3s for each additional cow. If a breeder should insist on only one cow in his herd being tested, he should be charged £lO 10s.
