MANAWATU SHOW CLOSES
SUCCESSFUL IN’ EVERY WAY. In conversation with Mr Miller, district manager of the Gnne Milking Machine Co., wo gather that this year’s show is one of ihe best he has known. His firm recognise its value and fully appreciate the courtesy and consideration of the show management. At this time the district manager of a company meets a very large number of old and new clients—farmers all—and Mr Miller speaks well of the hopeful and progressive tone evinced. He was agreeably surprised with the, air of financial stability ruling in this district and predicts .an early return to the old state of stabilisation. Situated as it is Palmerston has behind it a wonderful rural area and with this valuable asset its future is assured. His firm had found business undoubtedly good, the order-book showing up well for early season’s business. He predicted that. 1921 would find blill a further influx of exhibiting firms, who realise the undoubted value to be derived from a commercial point of view.—Advt.
