[Published by Arrangement.] FOR REUAHILITV. fr.eda Milking Machines. An ex.hibit which is bound to at tract a good deal of attention at the show is the Messrs Taylor and Co.’s display of the I'lieda Milking Machine. Ibe great claim of the I neda is its reliability. Ii is the product of 13 years' scientific thought, combined' with theoretical and practical knowledge. Ii is. therefore, not a “new idea’ or an experiment, lint an accoin plished and practical milker. Ibis machine is designed with the object of cnUing out ail unsanitary piping as far as possible, and eliminating rough, coarse iron piping. Ibe piping in the Cneda is ol the single-pipe system throughout and wherever possible is of solid drawn liras,; tubing. In a word the Cneda is simple, sanitary and safe, and has an ndlalionless teal cup, its well as one with an inflation, clients having a choice of either when purchasing. I here is a pidsator for every bail, this being a decided advantage in thin il contacts (pucker wild the cups, thus causing beyter pulsation. The teal cups are strong and durable, stile on the cows, has air admission, amt milks rapidly as well as cleanly. The vacuum motor which drives the single pnlsator is automatic and suitable for installing in any shed, and is reliable and positive in its action with any style of power. The I neda iidial ionless teat cup, which works in conjunction with the i’neda milking machine, is quite a new departure as far as teat Clips are concerned, nevertheless, il inis been prophesied for years that sooner or later die ndlalionless enp must come. '1 be releaser is a further feature ol die machine. Its action is a patent method of operating the releaser of die pulsating type, inasmuch as the action of the vacuum operating it is reversed by diverting same through the lower chamber instead of the upper. '1 bese are only a few points of this remarkable machine. All fanners visiting the show should decide io see it in operation. Queries on any point whatever will lie welcomed. .Another feature of the .stand is the llaryos vacuum motor, which is suitable for driving any machine operated by vacuum. The whole plant is driven by a 3 h.p. Wolseloy petrol engine, already so favourably known, giving as it does extreme economy and reliability, .Vote address of the sole proprietors: Messrs J. Taylor and Co., Eltliam.

MRS HE VAN'S, Near Everybody’s Theatre. The visitor to Palmerston North is certain to recall Mrs Hevan's well-known establishment in Coleman Place, Palmerston North. JUDD SUCTION JOINT. An exhibit which should prove interesting lo all dairy farmers is that of the Judd Suction Joint Syndicate. The apparatus is a device patented for the thorough cleaning of milking machine pipes. Hitherto machines were liable to become foul through want of daily cleansing, and the milk passed through them was contaminated to such an extent as 10, in some instances, render it unlit for any manufacture of food products. To obviate this defect it was necessary to expend a great deal of energy and time, but with the use of this new invention the minimum amount only of labour is required, while both time and expense are saved, the appliance enabling the farmer to take down, cleanse and re-assomble his milk pipe in a few minutes. The report of an expert in dairying states among other things: “Every dairy farmer should be compelled, not oply to provide such facilities, but also to use them in liis own interests, as well as that of the consuming public.’’ The existing pipes on milking machines are cut into 3ft lengths, and the Judd suction plant has been so designed us lo make cleansing a very simple and effective process on all machines. Tho invention may be seen at the show, when demonstration's as to its working and full particulars will be gladly supplied by tho representative. The address of tho firm is the Judd Patent Syndicate, Sussex Chambers, Panama street, Wellington. THE PARA RUBBER C 0„ LTD. For Ail Rubber Goods.
