Mr Abraham appeared for plaintiff! and Mr Cooper for defendant. Plaintiff deposed particulars concerning the alleged engagement, and stated thai she had losl money by reason of the fact tha, she could have been in attendance at other eases. The defence was a denial of the alleged engagement. Judgment was given for the defendant, with costs.

Ulecnynden, of Pa liners lon Norilij for whom Mr Cooper I appeared, was dismissed on the grounds of insiiflieiont evidence.
