At a meeting of the Palmer,-ton North branch of the association last nigh! the following resohtlion was passed: “Thai this meeting of the Maltawain branch ol the P. and T. Oliicers’ Association strongly protests against the method a.dopted in bringing forward the, petition, as members were noi given a fair opportunity of considering the matter before recording their signatures. v
