At Himitangi on Wednesday 1000 head of poultry were offered to a great crowd of buyers. Pullets made up to I3s 6d each, ducks 4s 6d each. We offered, on behalf of the same vendor, 10 acres and dwelling adjoining, but passed it in at £25 less than reserve. ■ Oil .Saturday our big mart and yard sale taxed our place to the utmost capacity. Wo penned 950 head of poultry and sold the lot. Pullets made up to 7s each, yearling lions 4s ouch, ducks 3s 7d each, fat liens 2s, 2s 2d, 2s 7d each. Store pigs are iu good demand. Saturday’s prices were 30s, 3ls, 325; slips 12s, 13s 6d, 14s 3d. For a prime lino of baconers the vendor would not meet the market. Fruit is now coming forward more freely and sells well. Stunners 3s 6d half case, Docherty's 8s 6d bushel. Meat during the week found the mart, crowded with buyers.
