However, a line of medium stores brought 31s. Two sows arrived alter the sale and brought 52s (id and (it's Gd each. Fat liens brought up to 3s Id each, yearling hens 3s 7d each. The Meat Sale was attended by hundreds of buyers. Vegetables were short and brought big prices. Good sound potatoes 8s cwt,, others Gs, pig potatoes 3s. Good fruit is scarce ami brought big prices. Furniture (used particularly) is in strong demand, the demand being greater than the supply. One piano brought £47 10s, another £32.
