The Chicago Daily News states that cables and private advices declare that Lenin ns absolutely eliminated from the Russian situation, and a crisis is developing which must inevitably affect the whole ol Europe. Brain trouble, a paralytic ptroko or an acute breakdown is taking Lenin out of the .situation, if not out at the world. In any event, his active career lias ended, and no one has yet appeared who is ready to take up Lenin's policy of slow hut steady reconciliation with the other Powers of Europe.—A. and N.Z. cable.
