DAIRY FARMERS' UNION.

The organiser ol' the Dairy Farmers' Union, Mr A. B. Fear, addressed a, meeting in the Rangiotn Hall on Thursday evening;, when Mr H, Bond, president of the Farmers' Union, presided. At the conclusion of Mr Fear's address a Rood deal of discussion took place. Mr Bryant moved that a branch of the Dairy Farmers' Union bo formed in Rangiotu. Mr Leggo seconded the motion. The chairman moved an amendment that the Farmers' Union remain as it was. The amendment was defeated and the motion carried.

Earlier in the week Mr Fear held a meeting at Levin, Mr Broadbelt occupying the chair. The aims and objects of the union were placed before the meeting and Mr Taylor moved that they support tile Dairy Fanners' Union. This was_ seconded by Mr A. E. Cottill and carried.
